The late summer evenings are always loud from the clamor of the frogs from the local lake. Thus on a july evening I decided to check those ambiphians in the morning. Around 7 am, when I was arriving to the lake, the bullfrogs were in the near of the coast of the lake. The flies and the dragonflies were their main intended victims. They were pretty focused on the food, thus I could approach them so close.
I noticed inmediately, to reach the imaginated perspective, I have to go down as much as I can. Thus, I lied into the muddy lake and focused mainly on the eyes of the frogs. I had to be very gentle, not to disturbe them. Thanks to the 180mm macro lens, I could take these photos around 40cm's away.
